Ferozepur NGOs paste 500 reflectors on vehicles to prevent road accidents

Ferozepur, December 30, 2023:  To prevent accidents due to smog, two leading NGOs - Mayank Foundation in collaboration with Rotary Club Ferozepur Cantonment and Traffic Police continued the campaign of pasting reflectors on vehicles at Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk. Around 500 reflectors were pasted on different vehicles.

Traffic incharge Bachitar Singh and his team praised the work of Mayank Foundation and said that the continuous efforts of the organization under road safety are highly commendable and commendable. 

He said that many accidents occur due to fog in winter, due to which many people are losing their lives.  Our little carelessness can cause big trouble.  Therefore, today people were made aware about this by installing reflectors on their vehicles.

Dense fog conditions, during winter lead to a reduction in visibility and make city roads prone to accidents and the initiative was aimed at curbing mishaps, he said.

Active member of Mayank Foundation and Rotary Club Kamal Sharma said that our only aim is to save precious lives by reducing road accidents for which our team is working very seriously.  He appealed to the people to drive slowly during fog and install reflectors on vehicles, so that accidents can be prevented.
