Washignton, 23 February 2023: The US Securities and Exchange Commission has charged an Indian-American man who played the central role in spreading over 100 false rumors about public companies to generate more than USD one million in illicit trading profits.
Milan Vinod Patel of Cumming, Georgia is among the five individuals involved in this scheme who have been charged by the SEC in which he is said to have played the central role.
