Walking the Path of Nature

 By Vijay Garg

There are many creatures that we do not know anything about. Unknowingly do not care about those small creatures which are born due to the behest of nature. They complete their life cycle and die. This is how they end. But we seldom take this cycle seriously.

Once upon a time, the pupa hanging under the leaf was noticed. On the same tree, a caterpillar larva was stuck under another leaf. few days later a transparent shell appeared in place of the caterpillar. After that naturally the attention shifted to that caterpillar and shell. It was understood that the shell is made from the caterpillar itself. Suddenly one day there was vibration in the shell and the next day the shell appeared torn apart. Means the caterpillar flew away like a butterfly.

I remembered that this is a process of becoming a butterfly and after completing a certain life cycle, the caterpillar becomes a beautiful butterfly and starts hovering over the flowers. Someday while passing through the road, it became easy to recognize that caterpillar which is seen everywhere after the rain. Ants and Moths who we do not care about are also born by nature for a specific purpose. The truth is that no one is aimless here. Unknowingly these small creatures are trampled by us. But what to do?

In this run-of-the-mill life, it is not possible for us to think about these living beings. Today the situation is that the man has become so insensitive that instead of taking the injured person on the road to the hospital, it seems necessary to make a video. Thinking about them in such times can be nothing but a waste of time.  But there is one thing that the butterflies hovering over the flowers and the fireflies shining in the sky in the dark night are so relaxing. Sometimes the lack of both of these is very much felt in the rain.

This world is so vast that it is a very difficult task to count the land, aquatic and amphibious. Counting is done, but it is always incomplete. What's more, the living beings whose existence was considered to be almost extinct, they are also sometimes found somewhere. Surprised. It is a miracle of nature to find a white owl some time ago. It seems that where the limit of man ends, nature starts from there. It is heard in some stories that there are forty-four lakh species of living beings in this world. This means that there are eighty-four lakh creatures. If this is considered as the basis, then the question will arise what is the basis of this calculation? How would this calculation have been done?

However, the subject of this discussion are the creatures that range from subtle to gross. Subtle is not visible. We keep going in and out with every breath we take. change with the changing seasons. Which we know as virus and bacteria. One of these viruses had brought destruction all over the world.  People had to remain locked in their homes for almost two years. Due to the attack of the deadly virus, many of our own people have left this world unnecessarily.

In the midst of common life, the road through which one has to go on a cycle every day has a canal on one side and green fields on the other. Some of the fields have been converted into plots and in some the foundations of houses are being laid. The rest are farms. There are mango, tamarind, jamun, jam, ber and acacia trees. These all come up anywhere. They do not need separate fertilizer and water, no matter how much they are cut, they still flourish.

Well, in comparison to the past, now among the remaining trees, the nests of Baya are seen hanging on the Acacia tree. Baya is called 'Engineer Bird'. How can a small bird build such a complex and beautiful nest with the help of a tiny beak? Why and how do those little caterpillars cross the road to the canal? At the same time, they are also crushed by the vehicles passing on the road. After getting off the bicycle and walking on foot, it comes to mind that if so many caterpillars became butterflies, what would be the view there!  Then guess what the need for those caterpillars to cross the road? The farm has everything they need. Old scenes come to mind. Those green-yellow coloured butterflies that used to hover in the bushes attracted the children and the children drawn in this attraction used to run after them to catch them.
